Here are his thoughts on his Festival Debut
I finally got round to playing the club tent at the Cambridge Folk Festival. Lester and I went on stage after the Mannish Boys who had played a storming set and procured us a crowd of 300 plus, far more than I had played too before, so I took to the stage with my heart in my mouth. But a really warm introduction from compere James Hibbins helped and the audience were superb - they were really attentive and responsive and most importantly they stayed on, which helped to calm the nerves, and very quickly I was able to really enjoy the moment. 'The ant and the grasshopper' got people involved and we had everyone joining in (even those standing near the bar!) on 'The last bus to Leeds'. After the set we had some really positive feedback from friends, artists and audience. It was all very exciting and I haven't quite come down over a month later.
