Alabama 3 Unplugged
Any band described by the Guardian as 'The best live band in the country' or Trainspotter creator, Irvine Walsh as 'The first band I could ever dance to in the daytime
hours with out chemical assistance' has got a lot to live up to. Particularly when they've decided to go about it the hard way by leaving the electric kit at home.
Any campaign that you might want to launch to 'Free The Alabama 3' would tragically leave more of this band in prison than out as they clock in seven musician strong. The band have
a passion for the anti-hero, consequently there's a dark edge to song and sound, plus most of their heroes ended up hanging from the likes of the Tyburn tree.
Really not sure what to make of this one. Yes a fearsome live reputation, but will the acoustic guise be enough?
