The New Rope String Band

Basically starting off from where The Old Rope String Band finished, The New Rope String Band picks up on the wackiness or it's predecessor, as well as two of the members. Two new members have come in but basically the attitude is still the same.
The band are renowned for the hoedown, old-timey celtic ceilidh music that's supported by a whole host of physical gags, clowning around and knock down nonsense.
Not that the band aren't serious about their music, far from it, their dealy serious, it's just that they think music is all about having a good time and entertaining, rather than singing about how life is so unfair.
It probably won't come as a suprise to discover that The New Rope String Band get the honour of headlining the children's concert. It wackiness is your thing, adults are welcome, just stand at the back and give the little ones their space.
