Mauvais Sort

Cambridge wouldn't be Cambridge without at least one Canadian band and this year that duty is performed by Quebecois combo Mauvais Sort. Mauvais Sort, the name translates as Bad Spell, are not only making their Cambridge debut, but their English festival debut, full stop.
Any band that features a picture on their website of the band sat around a table of beer and more than one of the band looking decidedly the worse for wear is alright by us. Particularly when it appears that they can shake it off and go out and play.
The band are a number of albums to the good and the regional style is one that's full of energy and designed to get you up on your feet and dancing along. Mauvais Sort have got  a lot to live up to. Canadian bands have delivered high quality performance after high quality performance. Our money is on this band keeping that tradition alive and well. Our money is on the bar doing quite a good trade that night as well.
