42nd Cambridge Folk Festival

Isambarde

Coventry trio Isambarde are one of the pre-booked acts for the Acoustic Routes session in the Club Tent. The hosts get to chose a couple of bands of their own to bring along.
Isambarde are reaching out from their Midlands base and are starting to be acknowledged further afield. Part of this is down to their solid live performances and part of this is down to the strength of the songs that the band have produced.
Some of these have already made it out on the band's debut release "Brunel's Kingdom", with more in the offing via second release "Barnstorming".
Joining, Chris, Em and Jude on the band's second album are guests that include Phil Beer and duo Vicki Swan and John Dyer.
Pretty much covering all extremes of the country during the course of the Summer, Isambarde could be considered an asset to almost any festival. Apprenticeship had been served Isambarde, know how to put on a show and if you're near the Club Tent when they're on get in there and support them.
