Photocredit neil King One of the big hits at this year's festival were the promotional festival dog-tags being given away by the Co-Operative Group, Central & Eastern Region. The Co-Operative Group sponsors the Festival Creche which caters for about 30 children between the ages 2 and 8. In addition it runs a big marquee that promotes it's ethical trading policies and other activities.

Founded in 1863 the Co-Operative group now covers a multitude of activities. As well as the famous high street shops activities reaslly are cradle to grave. The organsisation has a travel department, pharmacies, banking and insurance divisions(including te internet bank, Smile) and Funeralcare

The Co-operative Group also has over 100 years' experience in agriculture, managing over 85000 acres of land across the UK. Across it's divisions it employs over 70,000 people and in 2004 topped 7.8 billion in sales.
