The Family Mahone
The family Mahone are a not dis-similar family to their distant cousins the Ramones, a band whose members also share the same surname.
The band's claim to have started off as a busking band in the Northwich area have so far only been confirmed by a wiseman from Swatham.
The band, seen here pictured in their natural environment, note the lack of speech balloon saying my round, specialise in playing drinking songs from across the uk and beyond.
Claiming to be serious lovers of music and ale, the band have also been described as 'northerners that are about as hard as their water and probably not up to a real pint of scrumpy'
You might know some members of the Family Mahone under a diffent alias. If you do recognise them I believe the protocol is to say. I know you, you're that bloke of the radio, mine's a pint.
POST FESTIVAL VERDICT
Mark Radcliffe's band opened the festival with panache. Any band that adapts a micstand to take a pint and who employ a beer roadie is ok by us
