Ralph McTell

If anyone has been unfairly defined in the mind of the general public by just one song, it's Ralph Mctell. Time and time again The Streets Of London, come back to haunt him.

There is so much more to him than that. For a start there's Kenny The Bush Kangaroo and the rest of the Alphabet Zoo album. IT's not supposed to be a frivolous comment what it is supposed to do is emphasise the range of this prolific songwriter.

At his best Ralph can make you laugh, make you cry, even entertain the kids. He is an outstanding talent that has been overshadowed by a monster of his own  making.

Personally I don't think his voice is as strong as it once was, but he's still and outstanding performer and more important than that he's an entertainer.
