Peter Buckley Hill

When someone gets around to defining the fixtures and fittings of Cambridge Folk Festival, Peter Buckley Hill is likely to be included on the list somewhere.

It's been said that there are people that buy their ticket just to catch Peter, either inside or around the club tene, it may well be true, because, with the odd exception, Peter has pretty much played every festival I've attended.

Peter may not be a man that knows his arse from his elbow, check out his t-shirt range, but he does know how to make a point in song, be it serious or light hearted.

Included on the bill or not, and this year he is, Peter Buckley Hill is a Cambridge fixture. The big debate is whether he's an institution or lives in one.
