Horace X
One of the things I really like about Cambridge is the way that they look after local bands. There's a thriving local scene that is pretty much unrivalled anywhere else.
Horace X came through that scene. They've progressed through the various nights and stages at the festival with their particular blend of folk songs and rhythm.
More than that they've made folk an event. Costume, light show smoke mirrors, but without forgeting that essentially it's about the music.
Horace X may be the first to acknowledge that they are not everyone's cup of tea, but if you like your folk 21st centuary then this is a set that's going to be worth catching.
