Eliza Carthy

Somehow it wouldn't have seemed right celebrating the 40th Cambridge Folk Festival, without at least one member of folk's first family, the Carthy Clan there somewhere.

Officially there were none on the bill but Eliza had been invited to do a ten minute vocal slot by way of a birthday present.

The slot happened on the Sunday evening after the Beth Orton slot and quite simply it was electric.
