40th Cambridge Folk Festival

Dhol Foundation

Dohl Foundation will be one of the biggest bands to play Cambridge in recent years, often numbering around a dozen individuals. They follow The Angel Brother's and Satnam Singh, who played last year.

Lead by Johnny Kalsi, who has played with the likes of Afro Celts, Avril Lavigne and even Cliff Richard, Dhol Foundation have just finished recording their second album, which follows up Big Drum Small World.

If you haven't got that album, but some of the music seems familiar, it may be because maore and more of Dhol Foundations work is being used in films, such as Gangs Of New York.

Unfortunately, the band are only playing the one slot on the Friday so do your best.
