Brian McNeill

For a number of years now, Brian McNeill has hosted the festival session.

The Session takes place on the Radio 2 stage on the Saturday afternoon and is always well worth dropping in and out of because there's always something different happening. Artists come together for a song or two and then the line up and or style changes and you're into something else.

Brian is the ideal host for this. Not only is he known by virtually everyone on the folk scene, he is also one of the greatest fiddle players plying his craft.

The session is a genuine treat for music fans, drop in and have some fun.
