At twelve members in size, The Pack are the biggest band to play Cambridge this year. Hailing from the North East, this is a band that not only highlights the serious side of folk, they're quite happy to dip into the lighter moments.
Pretty much all under the age of 23, The Pack include in their number members of 442 and Ola. Their sense and range of music was perfectly captured in their debut album, the wittily entitled "Twelve Little Devils"
Folk in the North East is well supported by the likes of Northern Arts and Folkworks. This is one of the reasons why you'll find so many of this band putting experience back in by leading sessions and workshops around the site over the course of the weekend.
