John Spiers & Jon Boden

John Spiers(melodeon & vocals) & Jon Boden(fiddle and vocals) scored a major success as a showcase session last year. Going on to win the BBC2 folk horizon award.

This year they're back touting their talent across the mainstages pretty much throughout the weekend. Not only that they're also finding the time to take a workshop or two. Quite simply these guy are going to be the hardest working act at this year's festival.

It's also good to see a male duo breaking through in a field that seems to run short of names right after Show Of Hands.

I managed to miss this pair next year, I will be catching up with them at some point during this year's festival. I'm told it's well worth the effort.
