Street TheatreStreet theatre is becoming a more important part of the Cambridge Festival scene. I actually met someone this year who took a trip out to Coldhams common specifically to see the Mischief La-Bas. Whilst some of the activity is directed at children, there's an adult side to a lot of it.
Part of the intent seems to be to reduce the sense of isolation over at Coldham's, particularly if you've got younger family members with you. Part of it is also to provide a broader focus to what's going on. In the morning's particularly, you might also find some of these acts in and around the main festival site at Cherry Hinton.
One of these acts this year, Gorilla's did such a good job, that they even managed to convince some of the more casual observers that they might actually be real.
