Gráda are a high-energy, captivating traditional group. Their arrival on the Irish music scene has been impressive, having recently sold out Dublin venues such as the Cobblestone, Project Arts Centre (400 persons) and Whelans (400 persons).
Additional publicity from Alan Doherty's role as a lead soloist in the Lord of the Rings Soundtrack, coupled with a number of excellent reviews, has propelled Gráda to the forefront of Irelands music frame.
They are promoting their new album, Endeavour, which was co-produced by Trevor Hutchinson (of the Waterboys, Sharon Shannon, Lúnasa). The Irish Times described the album as an 'eye popping debut [sigma] firebrands all around.'
