The camping at Cherry Hinton is right next to the festival, in the same park infact. People tend to get there quite early and there's a lot of people that have similar spots year after year. It's tents only and you can't park here. It's a case of unload the car, go and park it, then come back and set up the tent. A bit of a pain if you're on your own. That's made up for by the fact the festival is literally a short walk away, as is a play area for the kids. There's plenty of toilets. For a small charge shower facilities are available at a school just across the road. At night there are impromptu sessions around and plenty of those conversations that drift into the small hours.
