Afro Celt

Having previously played the festival as Afro Celt Soundsystem, Afro Celt have dropped the soundsystem and added some new influences to their sound.

There's more of an accent on playing and less on programming. A latin edge has crept into the sound along the way. They are writing songs as well as soundscapes.

The "Seed" album has reflected the move to a more organic, less constructed way of doing things. Afro Celt Soundsystem were in the vangard of the various folk fusion movements, Afro Celts are bring elements of that back into the circle.

It still remains too techno for some of the purists, not radical enough for others. These are one of those acts that you've got to make your own mind up on. There's no if you like that, you'll like this about Afro Celt, suck 'em and see.
