Bob Fox & The Hush

Bob Fox, both solo and with his band The Hush will be one of the hardest working artists this festival with appearances on all three stages and a vocal workshop.

Bob and the band perform music from the North East but with a jazzy blues edge. He got together with the Hush having first made his name as a solo folk singer. He's done it to the extent that he picked up a nomination as Folk Singer of the year.

Personally I much prefer Bob as a solo artist, he has a warmth that he can't seem to get as part of a band. The band arrangements seem to tend towards the over polished.
