Token Women

Token Women are one of the best ceilidh bands currently on the circuit.

If you just want to let your hair down and dance then this is one of the best bands to do it to.

For a ceilidh to go really well you need three elements, a bunch of people ready to give it a go, regardless of talent, a venue with bucket loads of atmosphere and a band of quality musicians ready to drive the whole thing along. Well what does it look like we're going to get here?

Of course if the band are having a good time, then that can only add to the whole shooting match and Token Women aren't a band that just go through the motions.

Dance makes up a significant part of the folk canon, argueably it's the most accessible. When it gets this good you can understand why the ceilidh forms a significant part of a lot of people's Cambridge.
