Tarif de Haidouks

It's been a few years since Eastern Europe had representation at Cambridge but Tarif de Haidouks are about to put that right.

Almost impossible to classify, there's so much to their sound, klezmer, accapella, even a hint of Africa.

Not only that there's so much they do with and to their instruments, at times even verging on cruelty. At times it's hard to believe that they're just using traditional instruments, and a great deal of imagination.

The sound is encapulating whether it's being driven by instruments or voice. It's one of those things that your not sure if you're going to like, it's the combination of flavours that you might not have tried before.

If you've seen them before, you'll know what I'm talking about, if not suck this and see. You might really like it.
