Salsa Celtica

Take two great forms of dance, salsa, and ceilidh, fuse them together to create an even better dance style, right? Wrong!

This band played one of the few sets at Cambridge that I had to leave early, simply because it was better than staying to the end. I've had to leave sets for other reasons, rarely quality.

I'm a fan of both source styles, I just felt that combined, they just don't do it. Definitely a case of the whole being substantially less than the sum of it's parts.

Things might have changed, the combination may have been refined, I may simply be in a minority. There must be silver linings in the cloud for the band to still be around.

You pays your money and you takes your chance. I'm prepared to give them another chance, depending on what else is on against them
