Emily Slade

Emily Slade is an artist that's just starting to push herself into people's minds and some quite significant minds at that.

Despite never having played in a band before, Emily was drafted in by Phil Beer as a guitarist in his band when he was unexpectedly let down at short notice by the previous incumbent.

It meant that Emily not only had to pick up a lot of songs really quickly it also heralded the most intensive touring schedule she'd ever done. A valuable learning experience.

It's not just as a guitarist that Emily is starting to make an impact as her debut album Shire Boy shows. She can sing and write too.
